Offered in every county of the state through a well-established network, Help Me Grow is an evidence-based program that promotes healthy growth and development for babies and young children. Our home visitors are well-trained professionals who use a non-judgmental and compassionate approach that empowers parents with skills, tools and confidence to nurture the healthy growth of their children.

Parenting Prenatal to 3: The hardest and most important job in the world. Help Me Grow home visitors can provide caring support and reliable information on the topics that matter to you. When a parent schedules a home visit with Help Me Grow Home Visiting, they will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about parenting, ask questions, and receive reliable information based on their individual family needs or topics of interest. Topics may include, but are not limited to: Healthy Pregnancies, Baby and Child Health, Breastfeeding, Nutrition, Immunizations, Child Growth and Development, Discipline, Toilet Training, Child Safety, Household Safety, Local Resources. Early Childhood Mental Health Services: Anazao Community Partners (ACP) recognizes the importance of intervening early to support the social and emotional development of young children during their most critical years to prevent chronic and pervasive mental health challenges later in life. ACP is eager to support mothers during all stages of their pregnancy and postpartum, parents navigating challenging childhood behaviors, and children 0-5 years-old. ACP currently has providers trained in Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment to help support children 2-7 years-old improve their relationship with their parent(s) and teach parents skills to manage challenging behaviors. Providers are also trained in The Growing Brain Curriculum and can provide psychoeducation relating to a young child's brain development. Contact 330-264-9597 to get engaged in services.
Early Childhood Ohio: Ohio will utilize the expertise, work and planning that has occurred in Ohio, including the School Readiness Solutions Group, the Strategic Framework Planning Process and the State Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Planning, Build Ohio and the Governor's Early Childhood Transition Workgroup.
Head Start and Early Head Start: Community Action Wayne/Medina provides free programs through Early Head Start and Head Start. Head Start is a federally funded program for children ages 3-5. CAW/M offers part year center-based options, full year JFS childcare options, and home-based options.
Early Head Start is designed for pregnant women and children ages birth to 3 years. This program offers full year JFS childcare (center-based options 18 months-3 years) and home-based option.
