Coordinating Services

Wayne County Family and Children First Council exists to promote coordination and collaboration among local government, not for profit organizations, businesses and parents for the benefit of Wayne County's Children. We do this by Identifying Needs, Coordinating Services, Strengthening Prevention & Intervention and Improving the Way Our Community Works Together.

Service Coordination

Wayne FCFC provides Service Coordination to help families who receive services from multiple systems. It brings children, families and service providers together in a way that fosters communication, coordination and collaboration. You can refer your family to this program. Early Intervention

Wayne FCFC oversees Early Intervention through Help Me Grow provided by Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities. It provides coordinated early intervention services to parents of eligible children under the age of 3 with developmental delays or disabilities.

  • Early Intervention is a statewide system that provides coordinated services to parents of young children with delays and disabilities and grounded in the philosophy that young children learn best from familiar people in familiar settings. If you you and your child would like to participate in Early Intervention, please call the Wayne County Help Me Grow at 330-988-1300 or complete this form.
