Family Advisory

Our Family Advisory Committee meets as needed— generally to plan an event or volunteer opportunity, to provide feedback on Council work or receive updates. Family members also serve on and chair committees.

Meetings are monthly at 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Our next meeting is on January 15th, 2025. For more information contact ehawkins@waynefcfc.org

Executive

Oversees the administration of Council. This committee is comprised of mandated members and chairs from other Council Committees.

Meets on the last Tuesday of uneven months, following Resource & Grants- our next meetings are at 9:30am on January 28th and March 25th, 2025

Planning

Identifies gaps in services, target populations, recommends outcome measures and develops the Shared Plan.

Receives, screens and reviews grant requests; monitors contracted services, provides reports to Council on grant compliance and service outcomes.

Wayne Early Childhood Coalition

Coordinates a continuum of services to meet the social, medical, educational and mental health needs of parents of children prenatal to five in Wayne County. It identifies gaps, overlap and duplication of services and serves as advisory committee to Home Visiting and Head Start Health program.

Free OCCRRA Contact Hours and Social Work CEUs, sponsored by Aetna/OhioRise, and a light breakfast sponsored by AmeriHealth Caritas will be available.

Meets to focus the core message and advocacy activities of Council so we have the greatest impact for families and children.
